My name is Shelby Alvord (my students call me Ms. A) and I will be the ESL teacher at Abbot this year! I am excited to meet all my students and work on English skills all year long. This is my fourth year of teaching and my second year at AAPS. I have previously lived in Maryland, Georgia, Spain, and am from New Jersey. I received my undergrad in Spanish Language and Culture from Stockton University and my Masters in Teaching ESL from University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, and spending time outside. I hope to be a positive influence in the lives of my students and look forward to a great year at Abbot!
