Meredith Nickerson is joining the Abbot team after 17 years teaching for Dexter Community Schools and Storer Camp's Outdoor Environmental Education program.  She earned dual degrees in Elementary Education and Natural Sciences from Vanderbilt University and her master's degree in Educational Technology from Central Michigan University.  When not teaching, Mrs. Nickerson loves spending time with her husband, her son (a 1st grader at Carpenter Elementary), and her dog, Mabel. She has a passion for the sciences and technology, and is excited and ready to start sharing hands-on, innovative learning experiences with Abbot's young scientists!
