Want to play adult sports but don’t have a team? 

Rec & Ed offers a fun opportunity for adults in the Ann Arbor area to meet other sports-minded individuals through our "Free Agent" teams. These teams are perfect for people who are new to the Ann Arbor area or for those who are looking for a way to be active. Free agent softball and kickball teams are a great way to expand your circle of friends. To register for a free agent team, click the link below for the night and the league that suits you best.

Rec & Ed offers the following Winter 2024 Free Agent teams:

• Indoor Volleyball Free Agent teams - starts the week of January 13th. Teams play 8 matches for winter, 6 matches for spring. A minimum of 6 players are needed for a men's/women's team, a minimum of 3 men/3 women needed for a COREC team to be formed. Contact brinsone@gasnice.net for cost.
• We are reinstating our basketball program! If we are able to put together a free agent team, we'll need a minumum of 7 full time players to be formed. We offer mens intermediate/rec and women's open. 

Placement on a team is not guaranteed.
